The USB Device Server SX-2000WG+ – like the SX-2000U2 – can be used to attach different types of USB devices to a local area network (LAN). Scanners, printers, digital cameras, memory sticks, and multifunction devices can be used as if they were attached directly to a PC. The SX-2000WG+ supports USB 2.0 Hi-Speed, to status information, and allows for the configuration and use of the device – depending on the USB device's capacities.
This USB device server has the special feature of being able to operate in wireless or wired mode. The wireless mode offers the 802.11b- and the 11g standard. In addition to IP filtering, this server supports the latest WLAN security encryptions: WPA2, WPA and WEP.
